Griffith Park
This is considered one of the largest city parks in the United States, and it has over 4,000 acres of land for you to explore. Some things that you can see include the observatory where you can get a better look at the skyline by day and the stars by night.
Also, for those on the more active side, there are plenty of hiking trails around the area that offer stunning views. One other thing that you can see around this area is the infamous Hollywood sign, something a lot of people try to knock off their to-do list when visiting LA.
Disneyland
The park that started it all is located just across town from Los Angeles over in Anaheim, which is a reasonable drive from downtown LA. This famous amusement park opened back in 1955 and was the first Disney theme park ever built.
It has Sleeping Beauty’s castle as the centerpiece of the park, along with classic rides such as Space Mountain, Matterhorn, It’s a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight, the Haunted Mansion, and more.
Plus, since 2001, there is a second theme park on the property called Disney California Adventure that offers memorable rides of its own. Some of the more famous in that gated park include Radiator Springs Racers and what is now called Incredicoaster.
Dodger Stadium
For any baseball fan, this stadium is a must-stop, considering it is the third-oldest operating stadium in baseball. Dodger Stadium in Chavez Ravine is known for its spectacular views surrounding the stadium while the stadium itself throws baseball fans back in time.
Plus, you are likely going to see a good team, with the Dodgers having won the 2020 World Series and made it all the way to the NLCS in 2021.
However, this stadium is likely going to require you to have a car for transportation. If you are in need of a car to rent, you can consider renting a G wagon for a spacious car that lets you travel there in style.
Studio Tour
Los Angeles is known for being the entertainment capital of not just the US but arguably the world, with most major studios having a place to make films and shows in the area. Some of the notable studios that you can see are Universal, Warner Brothers, and Paramount.
