Did you know that there are 11.4 million foreign tourists in Thailand?

If you have ever wanted to visit Thailand, you are certainly not alone. People worldwide dream of sipping exotic drinks by the beach, snorkeling among Starfish in the pristine waters, or entertaining friends over mouth-watering dishes.

So, when is the best and worst time to visit Thailand? Tune in to find out the answer!

Cool Season

The best time to visit Thailand is during the cool season between November and February. The temperatures average a comfortable 25 degrees Celsius during the day and a pleasant 18-22 degrees at night-time.

When taking a vacation during this time, temperatures tend to be lower, and the humidity is more bearable, making the days more comfortable. The skies are usually clear. This makes sightseeing, exploration, and romantic honeymoons in Thailand more enjoyable.

But, because of the pleasant temperatures, Thailand will likely be more crowded during the cool season. The downside, however, is that prices for flights and accommodation are usually at a premium during this time of year. If you’re not a fan of large crowds, avoiding visiting during the peak season might be best.

Hot Season

The worst time to visit Thailand is during the hot season, which runs from March to June. During this time, temperatures can reach as high as 40°C, and the humidity levels skyrocket, making it incredibly uncomfortable and uncomfortable to be outdoors for extended periods.

During April and May, temperatures can be very hot and humid, meaning sightseeing can be uncomfortable, and you’ll need to keep cool with regular breaks.

Prices may be cheaper, but the booming temperatures mean that it often isn’t worth the savings. It’s also not ideal for beach holidays due to the rough and dangerous underwater conditions caused by the monsoon. It’s best to wait until after the monsoon season to ensure Thailand’s best and safest experience.

Rainy Season

The rainy season is essential to consider when visiting Thailand, as it affects the entire experience. Although the rain slows down some activities, the country still has a lot of things to do in Thailand, and it is worth a visit during this time. However, travelers should be prepared with extra clothes in case of rain and to plan indoor activities.

The time to avoid traveling to Thailand is during the country’s rainy season, which falls between June and October. During this period, heavy rain and thunderstorms can be expected throughout the day, making outdoor exploration and activities difficult.

If traveling during this time, it is best to avoid the coastal areas as these rainstorms will hit them the hardest. Although Thailand is beautiful at all times of the year, it is best to plan your trip around the dry season to avoid unpleasant weather experiences while enjoying the hosted landscapes.

Knowing the Best and Worst Time to Visit Thailand

Visiting Thailand has peak and off-season, making it an ideal spot for any type of traveler. During peak season, visitors will experience great entertainment and activities while enjoying beautiful landscapes, so be sure to know when is the worst time to visit Thailand. The off-season is the best time to go for those looking for fewer crowds and budget-friendly trips.
