World of Warcraft is one of the few games that have survived the twenty-year mark and remain in demand. This is surprising, because recently most games have been released that are quickly forgotten because they are uninteresting or irrelevant. World of Warcraft, however, is a game that is played by both adults and children. People of completely different ages meet there, make new friends (or enemies) and have a fun time.
As the popularity of the game grows, so does the demand for in-game services. Recently, the boosting service has become especially popular. This includes leveling, completing dungeons and raids, purchasing game currency, coaching, and more. Players go to a site that provides boosting, select the service they are interested in, and professional gamers complete the order. This significantly saves players time and effort, and also allows them to truly enjoy their account and the game in general.
Many who don’t play the game say that the popularity of World of Warcraft isn’t what it used to be. Nevertheless, Blizzard is trying their best to surprise us and return interest in their universe, despite the fact that, for example, the previous addition was not the most successful. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands failed to please players in terms of story. The main antagonist was indecently clichéd and as a result, in the usual way, was not accepted by the audience. However, in the next addition about dragons, the studio team tried to correct their mistakes and a lot happened.
And so, the new addition is called Dragonflight and it is dedicated to dragons. Today specifically we want to talk directly about the main villain. His name is Iridicron and he is also a dragon, but not an ordinary one. The fact is that initially Azeroth was inhabited exclusively by elemental spirits who constantly fought among themselves. Over time, some of them began to evolve into new creatures. This is how the original incarnations appeared. These powerful entities combine the power of the elements and the soul of the first dragons. For example, Iridicron embodied the power of the earth’s bowels, but there were others. Subsequently, it was from these creatures that proto-dragons, the ancestors of modern and familiar lizards, emerged. When the Titans arrived in Azeroth, they decided to use dragons as conductors of their will. To do this, they changed the entire race of winged creatures, filling them with the power of order, their strength. This is how the Aspects and their packs appeared. But the original incarnations, led by Iridikron, opposed this, believing that the Titans wanted to turn their people into slaves. And this is the first plus for the new villain because his motives are quite understandable and logical.
The pantheon of titans doesn’t consist of only good characters, and their motives are not at all selfless. They impose their vision of the world without asking the opinions of the other inhabitants of space, and Iridicron and the incarnations are the indigenous inhabitants of the world and they are not at all obliged to listen to the will of others. But having enlisted the support of only the created Aspects, the Titans imprisoned the original incarnations in dungeons, just as they did with the ancient gods (they love to do this), and since then all the dragons have changed, siding with the pantheon.
Now Iridicron has freed himself, and realizing that his enemies will not leave it like that, he begins to weave his intrigues in order to rid Azeroth of foreign influence. It’s just that the method he chose is dangerous for everyone else. Regardless of destruction and other people’s lives, concluding very dangerous alliances (for example, with the Abyss), he will not stop until he wins. In this vein, his confrontation with the Pantheon could destroy the entire world and therefore he must be stopped. It turned out to be very interesting. He doesn’t just want to do bad things to everyone because he’s evil, in some cases it’s even the other way around, you want to take his side. In addition, the addition reveals many details that characterize the Titans from a bad perspective. We are used to seeing them as allies, because it was they who helped us defeat Sargeras (the fallen titan), but the pantheon did this rather in their own interests. So it turns out that it is still unclear who is bad here, but players always like such plot moves. The plot of the latest addon is one of the reasons why the game has high ratings and generally receives positive reviews.
Let’s see if such an interesting character will be merged at the end of the plot of the Dragonflight add-on, which would of course be a mistake because it was because of such controversial personalities that people previously fell in love with this mysterious and beautiful world of Warcraft.
