On Thursday, June 28, 2012 The United Chambers of Commerce of San Fernando Valley held their 2012 Annual Mega Mixer hosted by Galpin Motors from 6:00 pm. to 8:30 pm. at 15600 Roscoe Boulevard in the City of Van Nuys, CA 91406. The event with over 500 people in attendance was sponsored by various area chambers, including The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles.
Some of the Board of Directors, Officers and Members of The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles were present in action. Mary Ann Omega, FACC-LA Vice President was welcoming people to the chamber booth by introducing the FACC-LA membership benefits and thanking them for stopping by. As well other chambers from the area took part of this networking and mixer opportunity.
The event featured a cash bar, complimentary appetizers and music. The event ticket prices were $15 if payment received by June 14 (deadline for early bird), $20 if payment received from June 15 to June 25 (for Members) and $30 if payment received from June 26 to June 28 and if payments receive at the door/non-members/guests not listed.

On Friday, March 30, 2012 The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce LA Officers and Board of Directors held their Induction Ceremony 2012 Officers Installation and new members recognition at Mayflower Seafood Restaurant inside the Banquet Room located at 679 N. Spring Street in Los Angeles, CA. 90012 from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.
The Event was hosted by Lydia V. Solis and Mr. Joe Arciaga. Philippine LA Deputy Consul General Honorable Daniel Espiritu make a speech and did the installation ceremony of the 2012 Board of Directors and Officers.
The event featured live performances by Singer Vangie Crowther who song the USA and The Philippines National Anthem. Then Bob and Vangie Crowther sung a duet. Also The Classy Harmony sung at the event. During the event 2011 FilAm Chamber LA president Rodel Lumanog and 2012 FilAm Chamber LA President Vic Mercado spoke at the event and Noel S. V. Omega presented the FACC-LA History and Accomplishments and Promo of 2013 Federation of Philippine Chamber of Commerce Bi-National Convention and Expo.
FilAm Chamber LA present a check of $500 to ABS-CBN Foundation. The event concluded with Raffle, Dance and some new member were hand out certificates of recognition.
The 2012 Filipino American Chamber of Commerce LA Officers and Board of Directors are: Vic Mercado (President), Lydia Soriano (President Elect/ 1st Vice), Mary Ann Omega (2nd Vice President), Shirley Lumanog (Corresponding Secretary), Vangie Tabberrah (Recording Secretary) and Roy Tabberrah (Treasurer). On Friday, March 9, 2012 The Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles announced the official results of the FACC-LA election for 2012. The executive officers are: Vic Mercado (President), Lydia Soriano (President Elect/ 1st Vice), Mary Ann Omega (2nd Vice President), Shirley Lumanog (Corresponding Secretary), Vangie Tabberrah (Recording Secretary) and Roy Tabberrah (Treasurer).

On Saturday, February 4, 2012, the San Fernando Valley of the SouthMain Rejuvenation Institute held an open house for it’s grand re-opening, red carpet and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Located at 14545 Friar Street in Van Nuys, CA, and held from 2:00 -5:00pm, the stellar event included delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails with an open bar and violinist Krissy Staykova, who played through out the first hour while guests socialized. Master of Ceremonies Noel S.V. Omega said “It’s always a pleasure to support the Southmain Rejuvenation Institute, they do so much for the community.”
Louella D. Eischen, certified Aesthetic Consultant, Aesthetic Director and Operations Director for the Institute explained, “Mastery of the art and science of medical aesthetics is always what we aim for.” She continued, “and excellence in customer service and quality care is our top priority.”
A public prayer and blessing was officiated by Father Ramon Pedro, who also gave a private candlelight blessing in the offices upstairs, distributing holy water through out, after the ribbon was cut. Dr. Apolinar Tiongson and Louella D. Eischen received certificates of recognition from The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce LA and from the office of Tony Cardenas, Councilman, Sixth District, City of Los Angeles.
There were speeches and special performances by Kristine Remigio, a retired Broadway star from the show Miss Saigon, child vocalist ‘Anya’ aka Razel Zapanta, and singer/songwriter Leizl.
“SouthMain Rejuvenation Institute (SRI) Grand Opening event was a huge success. There were a lot of attendees. The receiving area was full of people. The red carpet was covered by a lot of media and professional photographers. All the guests were entertained with singers, and a violinist.
The guests were served with great tasting hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and beverages. Most of the guests went home happy with their free treatments raffle prize give aways. Louella Eischen, Aesthetic Director and Dr. Apolinar Tiongson of SRI were very happy and pleased of the turn out of their Grand Opening.” said Mary Ann R. Omega, Vice President of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles.
They had door prizes and raffle items which included Laser Rejuvenation sessions, Neuromodulators (e.g. Botox, Dysport), Dermal Fillers such as Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm, Microdermabrasion, Flaxel Sessions, Laser Hair Removal, Weight Loss Sessions and many other items. All of the visiting guests were treated generously by being given a future free laser facial session.

About Apolinar Tiongson, M.D.:
Apolinar Tiongson, M.D. is a licensed physician in the State of California. Dr. Tiongson received his medical degree from Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines in 1990, completed internship in internal medicine at the New York University Medical Center-Deparment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 1994 and residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center.
