The Gallery LA Fashion Night Out at the Beverly Hills Porsche Presents Designs by Dina Bar-El and Anthony Franco

On September 6, 2012 Wella Professionals presents The Gallery Los Angeles Fashion’s Night Out at the Beverly Hills Porsche located at 8425 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California 90211 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm..

Mickey Koffman the Producer of L.A. Fashion Weekend from The Gallery Los Angeles produced and hosted the traditional event where over 300 people attended.

Guests had the pleasure to enjoy complimentary drinks, appetizers, beauty treatments by Nine Zero One and Napoleon Perdis.  California Apparel News, The LA Fashion Magazine and American Gentlemen are some of the print magazines that provided a copy of their magazine for review. The red carpet arrivals was located outside facing the line of lovely Porsches. The location was perfect for people to mingle and enjoy the cooler weather during the summer season. The main attraction was the fashion show to showcase two designer’s collections. Dina Bar-El who presented her designs with flare. Her collection consists of Satin Slip dresses, sparkle, and lovely layers of sheer beauty. The dresses were gorgeous, and made the models look stunning.

The talented Anthony Franco presented his style for men that you do not see often on the runway. A video was shown before his work was viewed. His collection looks very sexy and mysteries. Suits galore for the men were presented. The fabric textures, colors and fit were great for fall. The women’s collection added sparkle to pants suits, and shine to dresses.

Stonewall Young Democrats 6th Annual HERO Awards 2012: Year of the Women Hosted By Raquel Castaneda

On Saturday, August 25, 2012 The Stonewall Young Democrats and The Honorable Betty T. Yee held their 6th Annual HERO Awards: Year of the Women 2012 at The Westin Bonaventure located 404 South Flower Street in Los Angeles, California 90012.

The awardees were: Hon. Dianne Feinstein, California United States Senator, Hon. Debra Bowen, California Secretary of State, Hon. Cynthia Loo, Referee, LA Superior Court and Susan Dunlap, CEO, Planned Parenthood-Los Angeles.

“I was so proud and honored to serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies at the Stonewall Young Democrats 6th Annual Hero Awards. Thank you to everyone who came out and support me and our honorees!” said Mistress of Ceremonies was Raquel Castaneda.

The event keynote address was done by U.S. Congressmember Henry Waxman and event mistress of ceremonies was Raquel Castaneda, Cast Member, Showtime’s The Real “L” Word.

Some of the people that attended the event were Congresswoman Judy Chu, Congressman Adam Schiff, Assemblywoman Betsy Butler, Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield, Congressman Howard Berman, Assemblywoman Holly J. On August 15, 2012 The Gallery Los Angeles, the event production and marketing firm that produces Los Angeles Fashion Weekend, makes the announcement that they will be hosting Fashion’s Night Out, along with Wella Professionals, on September 6th, 2012, from 7:00pm-10:00pm, at Beverly Hills Porsche.

On Thursday, June 28, 2012, Mikey Koffman, Producer of LA Fashion Weekend from The Gallery Los Angeles hosted Fashion Splash, a Cocktail Reception, Runway Show at The Standard Hotel located at 8300 Sunset Boulevard in the City of West Hollywood, California 90069.

The affair featured everything from cocktail drinks, pictures taken by members of the media, and a teaser showing of models displaying swimsuits by designers Éclat Swimwear, Culture Swimwear, and Maui and Sons.

The main attraction was the designers such as, Éclat Swimwear that set the stage with shiny shimmering solid colors arranging from red, blue and white. While, Culture Swimwear designs showcase a Swirl of colors, consisting of browns, red, orange, black and white.  Maui and Sons made it a fun beach look with tee shirts, sunglasses and surfboards, combined with swimwear. During the fashion show run way the music was played by D.J. Niko Achtipes.

Actor/Co-Producer, Vincent De Paul (Hairspray – 1988) was among the guests.  The guests were seated in front of the runway overlooking the pool.

The poolside fashion show theme was a great way to show off latest swimwear.  Laughter and clamps by the guest really showcase that the guests really enjoyed and appreciated all the hard work contributed to put a fashion show.

Sunday, March 18th’s finale show will be broadcast LIVE on KTLA 5, with a special dedication to Hollywood and the glamor of television studios. The night’s line-up will include NBC’s Fashion Star designer Lizzie Parker, Alexis by Tal Sheyn, a line co-designed with Alexis Bellino of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County and the much anticipated new season of Gossip Girl by Romeo & Juliet Couture, an apparel collection inspired by the CW hit television series and its beloved characters.
