This spectacular affair took place at the prestigious Center Club located at 650 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa, CA 92626 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets for this charity were from $125 per person and $200 per couple.
Not only did Kathy Ireland host the event, she also spoke passionately about how her own dogs are rescued animals and thanked guests and sponsors for their support of this wonderful cause. Guests also had the chance to mingle with three of the rescue dogs (Armani, Mimi and Chip) while they enjoyed gourmet food provided by the Center Club, complimentary champagne, craps & black jack tables, photos in the Cool Shotz photo booth, and live and silent auctions where 100% of the proceeds went to care for the animals fostered in the shelter. All three dogs who attended the event have been adopted.
A Wish for Animals is a 100% non-profit (Tax I.D.#20-2331353), no-kill rescue. They are run solely by volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to rescuing homeless pets from animal shelters who are often moments away from being euthanized.
They provide medical care, spay/neuter, shots, microchips and a loving home to these animals until they can find their forever home.

There are very few people today that would argue against the importance of education. A solid foundation in education opens the doors to new opportunities in today’s tense economy. With that said, every parent wants to give their child the best tools to help them succeed. Luckily for parents, Academic Success is here to help. Academic Success provides their clients throughout theLos Angeles area with academic coaching, test preparation and home school services.
Whether your child is just starting in kindergarten or is in advanced calculus, Academic Success will pair them with the best coach to help them thrive. Jamie Altshule founded Academic Success in 2004 after a career of teaching traditionally in front of the class, tutoring students one-on-one in the home, and managing and teaching home schools. Enlightened by the perspective of both teachers and students, Jamie trains her academic coaches in core principles of organization, time-management, and study skills. This holistic approach strives to create a platform for overall studentship. Students often require both extra help in their toughest classes as well as support maintaining a well-organized and planned set of study habits for the home. Through her work Jamie found that hiring the coaches with the right personality and communication skills is key to helping students maintain their drive and inspiration to achieve their best grades.
All of Academic Success’s coaches have two essential qualities: the mastery of their subject and a personality that is relatable, energetic and compassionate. Academic Success aligns the best coaches to fit the student’s needs by taking into consideration the student’s goals, their learning style and personality. Coaches break down material for their students to make it understandable allowing the student be able to master their chosen subject. Over-all organizational and executive function skills are also taught to help students manage their academics in a calm, strategic manner to avoid last minute panic. Academic Success provides students with the know-how that allows them to plan ahead for assignments and organize their homework schedule to maximize their time without feeling overwhelmed.
Academic Success will help your child to reach their full potential and unlock new doors of opportunity. They consider working with students and their families an honor and privilege. You can reach Academic Success directly at (310) 823-4398 or http://www.academicsuccesscoaches.com.
