The Gallery LA Fashion Night Out at the Beverly Hills Porsche Presents Designs by Dina Bar-El and Anthony Franco

On September 6, 2012 Wella Professionals presents The Gallery Los Angeles Fashion’s Night Out at the Beverly Hills Porsche located at 8425 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California 90211 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm..

Mickey Koffman the Producer of L.A. Fashion Weekend from The Gallery Los Angeles produced and hosted the traditional event where over 300 people attended.

Guests had the pleasure to enjoy complimentary drinks, appetizers, beauty treatments by Nine Zero One and Napoleon Perdis.  California Apparel News, The LA Fashion Magazine and American Gentlemen are some of the print magazines that provided a copy of their magazine for review. The red carpet arrivals was located outside facing the line of lovely Porsches. The location was perfect for people to mingle and enjoy the cooler weather during the summer season. The main attraction was the fashion show to showcase two designer’s collections. Dina Bar-El who presented her designs with flare. Her collection consists of Satin Slip dresses, sparkle, and lovely layers of sheer beauty. The dresses were gorgeous, and made the models look stunning.

The talented Anthony Franco presented his style for men that you do not see often on the runway. A video was shown before his work was viewed. His collection looks very sexy and mysteries. Suits galore for the men were presented. The fabric textures, colors and fit were great for fall. The women’s collection added sparkle to pants suits, and shine to dresses.

Since Tuesday, June 21, 2011 the casting call for Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant 2011 benefiting Exotifit For Humanity, it is close to an end.

This Tuesday, November 15, 2011 we will find out the top four contestants and see who wins the 1st place prize and be crown The Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant to be held at The Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City, CA from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Also on the day we will find out the the first runner up and 2nd place. On this article before the Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures are officially crown we want to introduce to you in a question and answer format and Get To Know Your Perfect Creature Pageant Mr. Rasheed Rashad Smith.

Rasheed Rashad Smith is currently 34 years and was  born in Los Angeles South Central are in Inglewood, CA. He is know as an actor, rapper, model, song writer and also owns a marketing company where he manages model plus, rap or r&b artist. He started modeling since he was ten years old. His father shoots all his photo shoots and him art direct all his photo shoots.  Rasheed Rashad Smith also sings and rap.

His mother Charlene Anne Smith (see black and white photo), a former model was real sick  in the hospital and her mother and dad met. His was kidnapped by a crazy man, since them she have been in the hospital ever since.

He work out hard every day, play basketball and have a photo shoot every 3 weeks. He also is an actor and an entrepreneur, he owns his own marketing company called Tranzit Promotions working on music records. He is currently working with Doll Phace, a new artist with a song called Lets Go Ta Vegs feat Snoop Dog.

SE: Why you decided to be part of Mr and Ms Perfect Creatures by Maria Amor? What do you hope to accomplish and what will you give back to the community?

RRS: Well this competition give’s back to kids, they are the future. I love to give back someone gave back too me. So it is only right I do the same.

I hope too accomplish what I always accomplish to make people smile and be happy and never forget my face  and what ever I can do in the community to help I will do talk to kids, give advice and be there.

SE: If you win or did not win the competition how would you read act? Why place you want to win and why?

RRS: Also I feel I will win  and if I don’t Im always a winner. I’m never late too any of Mr and Ms Perfect Creatures by Maria Amor events.  I’m the most prepared model, at the last event I was the only male model that sang real good for the people that were there.

I feel I got this contest won already I’m a winner my name mean leader Rasheed and I enter this contest because I love to give back. When I did enter this pageant competition I felt like I will win this contest.

I have a great inside and outside and I’ve done alot already in my life and just wanna keep doing more.

Elinor Cohen was born in Netanyahu, Israel.  She is know as a Fashion, Print and Runway Model. She currently resides in Westlake Village, California and works for the family’s business called Puzzled, Inc.

SE: Why you decided to be part of Mr and Ms Perfect Creatures by Maria Amor? What do you hope to accomplish and what will you give back to the community?

EC: I want to be Ms Perfect Creature because of my passion for modeling my drive to be the best I can be and my caring nature to help others less fortunate than me.
· I feel in my heart that I can represent the status as Ms Perfect Creature because I believe in myself and I feel I have the values and goals that ms perfect creature should be.
· I believe hard work and never giving up has giving me the strength and confidence that ms perfect creature should have.
Being ms perfect creature means a lot and is a dream come true…
I hoped to accomplish sense of wealth of strengths, skills, have a better gratitude, also learning about myself and about others also gaining valuable experiences. I want to give back to the community doing volunteer and charitable work helping the homeless shelter or local hospital with the children who have disabilities. Doing a charity event for children like donating toys so the children have gifts for Christmas.

SE: If you win or did not win the competition how would you read act? Why place you want to win and why?

Regardless if I did win or did not win my reaction would be still happy either both ways.

I would be very glad if I did win just like everyone else would be but if I didn’t win I would still be happy for the fact that I have learned so much doing this event I learn how there’s always something you can do to help those that are unfortunate.

Helping and giving back to those in need of help made me felt so accomplished. I would like to place in 1st but any place is good for me even after all it gives me great satisfaction and pride I did something for the community and for myself.

I felt a great sense of accomplishment by putting my effort and soul giving back to the community and it made me a better person.

Born in Taos, New Mexico Jade Rawlins is a multi-cultured young woman in blood ranging from Native American and Irish on her mothers side, to Colombian, Spanish, Ostpreussen German, Bodentahl Jewish, and a small percentage of Asian on her father’s side.

Some of her Hobbies/activities are: Singing, Dancing, Acting, Performing, Exercising in nature, Sauna detox, Meditation, Reading, Song-Writing, and keeping in touch with her closest friends/family.

SE: Why you decided to be part of Mr and Ms Perfect Creatures by Maria Amor? What do you hope to accomplish and what will you give back to the community?

JR: “I decided to be a part of Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures because: Mother Earth is calling and we as human beings are at the top of the food chain and have the ability to make a difference in the future, health of the environment, and the creatures within it.

Unfortunately, we also have the ability to create turmoil, war and disaster among our planet.  I want to be a human being that puts my efforts towards the positive, good and well being among this planet I live on.  I believe that I was sent here with the purpose of being a powerful leader, a role model for younger generations and that it wasn’t coincidence that I was born with multiple innate talents.  With my talents I want to learn how with my survival and income to help and give back to both the environment and Humans/Creatures in need by raising funds for purposes such as donating to charities and humanitarian funds- which Exotifit for Humanity- the Non Profit Organization that funds Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creature- aims to accomplish!

I am proud to be a Perfect Creature candidate, and even though I did not move to Hollywood with a lot of money I still came to Hollywood with a big dream after growing up in a small town.  This pageant is allowing me to have a shot at exposing myself, learn what it is to be in the spotlight, learn to get over my fears of not being able to make my dream come true, learning the power of reaching out and building a network and a team and not being afraid to ask people who care about me to help me build my dreams esp when I am proud of what my dream is—ultimately to be a professional entertainer/leader and healer in this world and be proud of the impact I left to others before I pass on.”

SE: If you win or did not win the competition how would you read act? Why place you want to win and why?

JR: “If I were to win this Pageant I would react with Happiness, Gratitude, and Excitement!  I would love to win First Place as I do in all competitions I partake in.  I would be proud to continue with Maria Amor and her Perfect Team- to continue accomplishing more Humanitarian outreach projects in both the Phillipines and locally! I have been hired amongst LAYN- The Los Angeles Youth Network- as a field manager- to help raise funds for the Los Angeles Homeless.

The most important thing to me is to enjoy my journey as I climb farther and farther towards my accomplished dream of surviving successfully as a professional Performer, Healer, and Leader that helps those in need!    I am proud to have experienced the opportunity to be in this first season of the Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures Candidacy! My humanitarian goals, are to expand my confidence in order to become a professional, successful, healthy woman and with my wisdom be able to help save lives, improve welfare, and alleviate suffering among other humans in need.

She is a model, actress and host, born in Pasadena, CA and resident of West Hollywood, CA. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, shooting guns, martial arts, go-kart racing, and of course outreach. Her spirituality drives her, her family grounds her her. and children in general inspire her.  Coming from East Indian background and speak Punjabi, Hindi, and English.

She is a winner of numerous showcase awards in modeling for Fashion, Editorial, and Glamour; Saffron has walked the runway for Loreal Redken, interviewed for features in spreads for magazines and countless web advertisements, spokes-modeled for name brands and endorsements for Charity organizations. Filming as TV Host and interviewer for major stations and radios; she can also be seen in music videos, commercials, and film. Columnist and also author of her own written and published column “Living Kai-zen”.

SE: Why you decided to be part of Mr and Ms Perfect Creatures by Maria Amor?

SR: I was intrigued by the design of this project and how different it was having models compete by showcasing their leadership and humanitarian passions through given challenges.

Initially though, I struggled with the concept of campaigning myself as Ms ”Perfect” because I know I have many flaws as most people do; but like the saying goes ‘..perfection is impossible but the pursuit of perfection can lead to excellence’. Therefore, I decided to dive in and use this as an opportunity to polish my craft as well.

SE: What do you hope to accomplish and what will you give back to the community?

SR: Being just a simple girl trying to make a difference, I just want to inspire others to want to do the same.

I’m so inspired by the spirit and fearlessness in children that my time and efforts in the community will go towards local projects that are focusing on preserving that.

SE: If you win or did not win the competition how would you read act? Why place you want to win and why?

SR: My passion for helping others will indeed continue with or without the crown, winning first place would be the icing on the cake as well as an honor.

It would reap greater opportunities for me to do my work as well as win me a much needed vacation that I look forward to. Nevertheless this project has been about the journey as much as the destination and therefore I have already won.
