Since releasing her debut CD in 2005, Carrie Underwood has sold more than 15 million albums, making her the best-selling “American Idol” in the U.S. She’s accumulated 16 No. 1 singles, seven of which she co-wrote, and became the first country artist in history and the only “American Idol” winner ever to achieve 10 No. 1 singles from their first two albums. She is a five-time Grammy winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry. Underwood is current headlining her “Blown Away Tour” across North America promoting her platinum-selling album “Blown Away,” which contains two No. 1 hit singles, “Good Girl” and the title track “Blown Away.” Later this week she and Brad Paisley will co-host the “The 46th Annual CMA Awards.” The CMA’s will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, November 1, at 8:00 p.m., ET on ABC.
Since her debut in 2000, P!nk (Alecia Moore) has released seven albums (“Can’t Take Me Home,” “M!ssundaztood,” “Try This,” “I’m Not Dead,” “Funhouse,” “Greatest Hits So Far!!!,” “The Truth About Love”), sold over 40 million albums, 65 million singles (nearly 20 million digital tracks), over 1 million DVDs worldwide and has had 12 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart

She is the recipient of three Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, two MTV Europe Awards, two People’s Choice Awards and many more. P!nk’s most recent effort, “The Truth About Love,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 as well as in six other countries. The album marks P!nk’s first No. 1 debut in the U.S. and a personal first week sales best. “The Truth About Love” produced the smash single “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” which marks P!nk’s 12th Top-10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. P!nk will set off on a North American Tour in February 2013.
Pitbull has risen to become a global superstar as both a recording and performing artist. The Miami-native recently added to a long and growing list of hits with his first No. 1, “Give Me Everything.” At the same time, his Planet Pit world tour sold out concerts in Mexico, Canada and Europe, before bringing the party to the United States, Japan and Australia. Pitbull’s new single, “Don’t Stop the Party,” is gaining heavy momentum on the radio and video charts and will be featured on his upcoming “Global Warming” album on November 19, the highly anticipated follow-up to “Planet Pit,” which earned critical acclaim and enjoyed commercial success with sales of more than 1.4 million albums and 18 million singles. “Don’t Stop the Party” comes on the heels of Pitbull’s 2 million-selling single, “Back in Time,” the chart-topping anthem from the action-adventure-comedy “Men in Black 3.” To complement his worldwide success as an artist, Pitbull is also a burgeoning businessman with his own line of premium, low-calorie vodka, Voli, equity partner in the iconic food franchise that shares his Miami roots, The New Miami Subs Grill, and a partnership with Sheets, the dissolvable energy strip. Taylor Swift’s fourth studio album, “Red,” was just released this week to strong sales and rave reviews. Her 2010 album, “Speak Now,” was lauded on Rolling Stone’s prestigious 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, and Time magazine has named Swift one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. She is Billboard’s Woman of the Year, the reigning American Music Awards Artist of the Year, and both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music’s current Entertainer of the Year. She is also the most awarded star in the history of the Teen Choice Awards, taking home honors for both music and movies. Swift, who writes all of her own songs, has career record sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million song downloads. Each of her three studio albums has sold in excess of 5 million copies worldwide, and “Speak Now” is one of only 17 albums in the history of music to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week. She has had singles top both country and pop radio charts around the globe, is one of the top 5-selling digital music artists
Nicki Minaj released her album “Pink Friday” in November 2010, peaking at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and being certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) a month after its release. She became the first female solo artist to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Her seventh single, “Super Bass,” has since been certified quadruple-platinum by the RIAA, and has sold more than 4 million copies, becoming one of the best-selling singles in the U.S. Minaj released her second album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” in April 2012, which topped charts internationally, also spawning the Top-10 singles “Starships” and “Pound the Alarm.” Since then the album has become one of the best-selling albums of 2012, according to the Nielsen SoundScan, selling 1 million copies worldwide. In 2012 Minaj embarked on two worldwide tours, the Pink Friday Tour and the Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour.
Linkin Park is a multi-award-winning, multi-platinum alternative rock band comprised of lead vocalist Chester Bennington, drummer/percussionist Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell, DJ/programmer Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda — lead vocals, keyboards, guitar. The band has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, and is the biggest band on Facebook, with over 43 million fans and counting. Since 2000, when Linkin Park debuted on the Billboard 200, no other artist has had more Top 10 singles on the Alternative chart and, with the release of their latest album, “Living Things” (Machine Shop Recordings/Warner Bros), which reached No. 1 in over 20 countries, no other band has achieved more No. 1 albums this century. In 2005 Linkin Park founded Music for Relief, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that has raised over $5 million for victims of natural disasters and environmental projects. www.linkinpark.com

Editor’s Note: The only negative thing about American Music Awards 2011 is when we went tru security and we were giving the wrong directions by LAPD in the venue where to check. This rude woman in black glasses would not allow us to go to the elevator, she follow us to the check in security. Security and us we told we already pass tru security but the woman would not care and force the security to check us again during a busy time. I think dick clark productions should fire her or she needs to apology to us and the security lady. Thank You.

Editor’s Note: Videos of the event will be posted soon. We want to state the food and shuttle service provide to media/press and talent was great. Unfortunately there was nobody from the event organizers to tell us where to sit or provide assigned areas for us to do our jobs. We were able to determined one room for photographers and one for video and press room/reporters/writers.  Also presenters, performers and winners did not show up to the photo or press room. Some of them only walked the red carpet where some of us were excluded.

Congratulations to all the 2010 American Music Awards Winners and Nominees.
