Celebrity Photographer Travis Jourdain Lands U/5 Role On The Young and The Restless Soap opera airs on CBS

Celebrity Photographer Travis Jourdain will be appearing in the soap opera The Young and the Restless on Friday May 4th, 2012 on CBS at 12:30 pst. Be sure to tune in.

On April 28, 2012 it was announced that Travis Jourdain has decided to jump back into the acting business after taking a break for awhile, and within 2 weeks back in the biz he landed a role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.

During his break from the acting business he took some time to learn about the “Industry”.
He decided to get into the music business, and started developing artists which he later managed.

Travis also opened a small indie record label that was running for 3 years. He then branched out into the PR business, then spent some time behind a casting desk learning the different aspects of the industry along the way.

With all this under his belt he decided to venture off into another important part of this industry. Which happen to be photography. He found a niche in the photography business and has been pursing a career as a Celebrity Photographer for the past few years.

A veteran in photography, though Travis is fairly new to the Hollywood scene. He has managed to establish himself in such a short period of time as an amazing red carpet, movie stills, and headshot photographer. While doing so has positioned himself right in the middle of all the action. Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer to receive honor at 19th MMPA Oscar Week Student Filmmaker’s Scholarship Luncheon & Awards

On Thursday, February 23, 2012 The Multicultural Motion Picture Association announced the Civic and Visionary Honorees for the 19th Annual MMPA Oscar Week Student Filmmaker’s Scholarship Luncheon and Civic Awards. The Civic and Visionary Awards Recipients are Viola Davis (2012 Oscar Nominee), Octavia Spencer (2012 Oscar Nominee), Kami Zargham McAdam (Award Winning Photograher/Filmmaker), Bobbie Chance (Actress/Acting Coach) and George Zakk (Producer).

The event will be held at prestigious and luxury Sofitel Hotel Los Angeles located at 8555 Beverly Boulevard in Beverly Hills, CA 90048 on Friday, February 24, 2012, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. The event will feature live entertainment performance by Recording Artist Izzy Chait and Band, a red carpet, scholarship and civic awards presentation, lunch and official gift bags. This was held at the Celebrity Center on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Hollywood, CA from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The event was hosted by comedian Johnny V.

CNN’s Larry King Grand Marshal of The Hollywood Christmas Parade 2010

On November 28, 2010 The Hollywood Christmas Parade Benefiting Marine Toys for Tots was held in Hollywood, CA and featured Television Icon and Emmy Award, Peabody Award, Cable ACE Award winner and Host of CNN’s Larry King as the Hollywood Christmas Parade 2010 Grand Marshal.

Him and his wife attended the red carpet and then the parade was held in Hollywood, CA. The event was held from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the center of Hollywood by the Hollywood Stars Walk of Fame. The 2010 Hollywood Christmas Parade was hosted by Erik Estrada and Laura McKenzie.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade  did a U-shaped route throughout Hollywood, CA starting at Orange Street and Hollywood Boulevard, traveling East onto Hollywood Boulevard turning South onto Vine Street, and then traveling West onto Sunset Boulevard back to Orange Street.

About Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots: The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
