On Sunday, April 29, 2012 Ingrid’s Tapas Bar & Grill formerly Ingrid’s Cafe Announces the closure of Ingrid’s Beverly Hills Location. The restaurant will be closed as of April 30th.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I announce the closure of Ingrid’s of Beverly Hills.It gave us an extreme joy to serve you through out these years. We are super happy to have shared so many stellar times with all that experienced Ingrid’s of Beverly Hills. We give thanks to everyone who contributed to the life of Ingrid’s, and look forward to the future.A very special thanks to my co-workers, Ana Mateo, Derek Lopez and Nika Aroustamian (and of course Eustacio Aragon, may he rest in peace) who made Ingrid’s shined and gave their 200% to my petit chateau. I am so grateful to have had such dedicated partners in my life. Customers Reminded to Reset Clocks and Timers to Save Water, Power and Money
On Friday, March 9, 2012, with Daylight Saving Time beginning at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reminds customers to turn clocks forward and reset lighting timers, programmable thermostats and sprinkler timers.
The City of Los Angeles is currently under mandatory water conservation, which restricts outdoor watering to times before 9:00 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. Customers should note the change in time and adjust their sprinkler timers accordingly.
LADWP encourages customers to reset lighting timers to turn on only after daylight hours and to remain lit only as long as is necessary. Energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs are recommended for installation wherever possible.
The time change is a valuable opportunity for LADWP customers to review energy and water routines at home and in the workplace to seek out ways to conserve. Effective conservation can reduce utility bills and result in monetary savings for customers: save water, save power, save money. Saddle UP LA Fundraiser & Maria Amor Search for Mr. and Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant in Beverly Hills

First the casting call started at Britboy Fashions Boutique in downtown Los Angeles and then went to the famous city of Beverly Hills, but this time with a red carpet, DJ and the purpose of raising money for a worthy charity. Exotifit International by Maria Amor comes to the famous city of Beverly Hills to continue searching for Mr. and Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant 2011 in Beverly Hills, CA.
“Attending the “Saddle Up LA” Event at Ingrid’s Cafe was a delightful experience. I met some really talented, fun, and energetic people. Ingrid went out of her way to be sure that everyone was taken care of, received good service, and made delicious food. It was worth attending.” said Stella Gomez.
The Saddle Up LA fundraiser and casting call was held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Ingrid’s Cafe located at 9861 S. Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
This is the first time for Diversity News team to be part of Saddle UP LA benefiting The Life Group LA, a non profit organization helping HIV and AIDS people with education, medical, awareness and research. Per event organizers they raised $100.00 at the event. The event featured live DJ, Prizes,
Auction, Food, Red Carpet & Photos. Recording artist and HIV/AIDS supporter Cynthia Manley was among the guests.
The Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant 2011 is set to benefit Exotifit For Humanity, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. The Grand Finals will take place on October 28, 2011 in celebration of DARE TO BARE™ IV, an annual Halloween presentation of Exotifit International.

Exotifit International by Maria Amor announced on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 the casting call for Mr. & Ms. Perfect Creatures Pageant 2011 benefiting Exotifit For Humanity.
Exotifit™ International Inc. & Exotifit for Humanity™ are here once again for another exciting pageant that has never been done before! A master piece by Maria Amor™, this pageant is on the hunt for the most beautiful future leaders of the world-The Perfect Creatures!
Coining the word “perfect” although nobody is perfect, this competition aims to reveal the new breed of beauty kings and queens, focusing on humanitarian spirit, leadership, and excellence of the mind, body and ability.
The Grand Finals will take place on October 28, 2011 in celebration of DARE TO BARE™ IV, an annual Halloween presentation of Exotifit.
The first casting call is happening on June 26, 2011 from 2pm to 6pm at Britboy Fashions Boutique located at 649 S. Main St. Los Angeles, CA 90014. Applicants are expected to show a one-minute talent with or without music or props, a short run way modeling and answer a preliminary interview (Ala- American Idol). Applicants should bring a form of ID (driver’s license), resume, and pictures or zed cards (optional). Categories for Mr. Must be a natural born male, 18 to 35 years old, Single, married, divorced, physically fit, Must have talent and not less than 5’10” in height.
