The 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards Complete Winners List

On November 10, 2011 The Latin Recording Academy presented their 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

The Awards show was broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).

Facebook Introduces Skype Video Calling Feature on Social Network

On Wednesday, July 6, 2011 Facebook announced on their company blog a new feature called “Video Calling Facebook”. Here is what it states: Video chat has been around for years now, but it’s still not an everyday activity for most people. Sometimes it’s too difficult to set up, or the friends you want to talk to are on different services.

So a few months ago, we started working with Skype to bring video calling to Facebook. We built it right into chat, so all your conversations start from the same place. To call your friend, just click the video call button at the top of your chat window.

For those of us who have been working on this, it’s particularly exciting to bring video calling to over 750 million people. We’re making this available in over 70 different languages, so friends can stay in touch all over the world.

Skype posted on their Facebook fan page on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 ”Today, we are excited to announce that Skype’s partnership with Facebook goes even further, as we are now making it possible to video chat with your friends right from within Facebook. This is an exciting step for us as it represents Skype’s first big step on the Web” Video calling will be available to everyone over the next few weeks, but if you don’t want to wait, you can get it now.

Breaking News: Specific Media Acquires Myspace from News Corporation

On Wednesday, June 29, 2011 Specific Media, a digital media company, announced its acquisition of Myspace, a leading social networking destination for consumers, celebrities and artists. As part of the deal, Emmy and Grammy winning artist Justin Timberlake will also take an ownership stake and play a major role in developing the creative direction and strategy for the company moving forward. Specific Media and Timberlake plan to unveil their vision for the site in an exclusive press conference later this summer.

“There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect. Johansson, Murphy, Eger & Russell To Receive Award at HRC LA Gala

On Wednesday, March 9, 2011 Human Rights Campaign announced that Scarlett Johansson to receive Ally for Equality Award and Patrick Murphy, former Congressman from Pennsylvania to receive the HRC National Leadership Award at the 2011 HRC Los Angeles Gala.

Also Rabbi Denise Eger and Rev. Canon Susan Russell will receive the HRC Community Equality Award.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 starting at 5:30 pm at Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA. Also expected to make an appearance are Jessie Tyler Ferguson (ABC’s “Modern Family”) and Jillian Michaels (NBC’s “Biggest Loser”).

On Friday, September 24, 2010 Author, Educator, Speaker and Doctor Aura Imbarus held her third book signing of her most acclaimed memoir tittle “Out of the Transylvania Night: A Story of Tyranny, Freedom, Love and Identity”, that was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.


First people walked on Friday evening and check with Emily A.M. Yeo in front of Ingrid’s Cafe Restaurant where she escort them inside to meet author and educator Aura Imbarus and offered fresh, yummy sweet treats for taste made by restaurant owner Ingrid Bedrosian (You can see the exclusive photos taken by Actor/Producer, Doctor and Photographer Mark Valinsky. Also some of Aura’s fans took photos, chat with her and congratulated her for her amazing job in writing and sharing her life story. She took time to autographs all the books the were purchase on the night from her fans/readers and friends.

The event was another success held and hosted by Ingrid’s Cafe located at 9861 S. Santa Monica Blvd in Beverly Hills, CA from 7:30pm – 10:30pm.
