On Wednesday, January 6, 2010, Life on Wilshire hosted the People’s Choice Awards post celebration party to benefit BrittiCares International Foundation.
Per Gith Public Relation’s agents, the purpose of this event was to raise awareness of children living with cancer and to help them survive one smile at a time. On this night, the event sought monetary, blood, and gift card donations to help Britticares with the programs that they offer to help sick children. The Good Life R&B Sensation Donnie Athens performed live at this event.
“BrittiCares feels the mission was accomplished, because we were able to create an awareness in regards to childhood cancer, the prevalence of the disease, the high demand for blood and marrow donors, the need for financial, emotional, and uplifting support, which are all accommodated by the programs and services provided by BrittiCares International.” Said Shirell Henderson, BrittiCares International Founder.
Per Shirell Henderson, Britticares International Founder, approximately $600 dollars was raised by BrittiCares through admission fees for the evening. They were able to get some blood donor-sign ups, and new volunteers which included sponsors for BrittiCares future programs and events.
“Approximately 200 guest attended, and some of the celebrities in attendance, were Demetrious Grosse, Pamela Hasselhoff, Haley Hasselhoff, John Marshall Jones, Martin Klebba, Kaki West, Up and coming R&B Pop singer Destenee (who sang a beautiful song personally written for her best friend that passed away from Cancer).___Media Outlets, Hollywood.TV, WTV, and Diversity News.” concluded Ms. Henderson.
The event was held from 9 pm to 2 am at Life on Wilshire located at 6311 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048
The event was supported and produced by W TV and Gith (GLOBAL INDEPENDENT TALENT HELP) Public Relations.
