VIDEO: My Chemical Romance Announces Their Split

Sad news for alternative rock fans. My Chemical Romance is breaking up. The band announced their split in an official blog post saying, “Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We’ve gotten to go to places we never knew we would.” The group then thanked fans for their support and for being part of the adventure. No real reason has been cited for the band’s split, but MCR’s frontman, Gerard Way, said it wasn’t because of divorce, argument, failure, accident, villain or knife in the back….uhh okay!

2010 American Music Awards Reveals Presenters November 21st
The “2010 American Music Awards” will be held on Sunday, November 21 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE and broadcast live on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Artists will be honored in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Soundtracks and Contemporary Inspirational. For the fourth year, winners will be determined by online voting at the official Coca-Cola voting location www.amavote.com as well as ama.abc.com.
