Corporate Citizenship Charities, dba Send Me on Vacation provided a remarkable and impressive event with beautiful décor, flowers, and entertainment. The mission of this 501(c)3 charity is to send breast cancer survivors on relaxing vacations after their physical wellness is stable. This vacation allows for the much needed calm and relaxation process necessary to bring back internal harmony to the psyche. Send Me on Vacation will be sending four Southern California families on a much needed vacation.
Among the many cancer survivors and their families, celebrities strolled along the Pink Carpet to show their support. Amongst them was Joyce Giraud (actress/model/former beauty queen, President and Producer of Queen of the Universe Pageant, Real Wives of Beverly Hills) and Michael Ohoven (German film producer and the founder and CEO of Infinity Media, Producer of Queen of the Universe Pageant) who was available to meet and greet.
In addition, the attendees were honored throughout the evening with the lovely voice of Jenna Mammina, a wonderfully talented jazz vocalist from the Bay Area. Floral arrangements in pink pastels were donated by the effervescent Adeliae Carrillo of Lily and Rose Co.
This was a lovely event, at a historical venue, generously supported by Jet Blue and the Roosevelt Hotel. When faced with uncertainty for the future, it is comforting to know there are people dedicated to sharing their experiences and their hearts with those who feel lost and alone. A standing ovation to all involved!
