Jobs are located in wireless and wireline operations, retail stores across state

COLUMBIA, S.C., Oct. 22, 2013, AT&T* today announced the company will hire workers for nearly 100 jobs in South Carolina, including nearly 60 new jobs.

The openings are a mix of technician positions and retail positions across the state. They are the result of AT&T’s continued investment in South Carolina to support network improvement and customer service. AT&T invested nearly $140 million in its wireless and wired networks in South Carolina in the first half of 2013, building on more than $850 million it invested in its wireless and wired networks from 2010 through 2012.

“AT&T is a strong and active member of our business community and we celebrate the 100 new jobs they are creating across South Carolina,” said Governor Nikki Haley. “These jobs and the capital investments which they support represent new opportunities for individuals and underscore our effort to encourage private investment in state-of-the-art technology.”
