Dear Friends:
On behalf of the City of Los Angeles, it is my pleasure to welcome members and guests attending Lizaso House of Barong and Style’s 5th Annual Kayamanan ng Bayan “A Philippine Independence Day-Week of Celebration” 115th Anniversary.
The Lizaso House of Barong and Style is a model of dedication to building bridges between diverse communities and cultures. I commend their contribution to the Filipino-American community in pursuit of raising awareness in our great city. Your philanthropic and humanitarian contributions to not only the Filipino community, but also to the greater Los Angeles area are truly inspirational.
I would like to congratulate all of tonight’s honorees for their efforts in furthering the Lizaso House of Barong and Style’s mission of humanitarian services.
It is always a pleasure to recognize organizations and individuals dedicated to promoting diversity and spreading hope through their commitment to community outreach.
