Fashion Week’s Premier Event Pulls Out All the Stops.
LOS ANGELES, CA; October 15, 2012 – For the eighth season running, L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios promises to be L.A. Fashion Week’s most-coveted industry event of the season with its lineup of top-tier designers and brands. From Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21, L.A.’s finest will come together for the grand finale of Fashion Week.
Festivities begin Thursday, October 18 with L.A. Fashion Weekend’s Kick Off Party sponsored by the weekend’s Silver Sponsor, Bibby Financial, which specializes in financing options for small and medium-sized companies.
Opening night features a live musical performance from up-and-coming boy band Midnight Red who will sing their new hit single “Hell Yeah” to get guests riled up and ready for the much-anticipated Swim show. Saturday kicks off with yet another live performance from rising pop star and The Gallery L.A.’s own Hannah Alter. Alter will open the show and set a high-energy tone for the night with her single “All Around the World.”
All weekend long, stylists from title sponsor Wella Professionals and artists from makeup sponsor Napoleon Perdis will not only fashion models for the runway, but also glam up guests hair and makeup in the Nobu Lounge pre-show at a state-of-the art Beauty Bar complete with Wella’s Braid Bar.
Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace, opening January 2013 in Las Vegas, is the official Lounge sponsor and will be converting the Lounge into a Nobu Hotel branded experience, complete with catering from its room service menu and a sneak peek look at what the hotel will feature. Guests at L.A. Fashion Weekend will be amongst the first to be able to make reservations at Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace right from the lounge, as well as mingle with actual staff, stretch out in a Nobu bed and view photos of the rooms and suites.
No one will go parched with an open bar from Little Black Dress Vodka, passed cocktails from Lovoka, and refreshments from Diabolo.
Guests will also have the opportunity to try on mud masks from GlamGlow, purchase and peruse jewelry from Sugar Scout LA, snag signature sweatshirts from Hoodie Buddie, who will have its own custom teepee in the Design Suite, and munch on cupcakes from Bubba Sweets.
