The hot heat did not stop anyone to drive up to the hills in the City of West Covina, CA., where serenity and history was been made with the official launch and signing of a book the every one wanted to get a copy of it and be part of it’s history.
On Sunday, July 29, 2012 Author Lourdes Duque Baron, MHA, MSG, hosted Official “Scripted In Heaven” book launch and signing at the Convent of the Trinitarians of Mary located at 3009 East Cameron Ave.,West Covina, CA 91791 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Joining Lourdes Duque Baron was Mother Lillie and the Sisters of the Trinitarians of Mary at their newest convent in West Covina, California. With the attendance of close to 300 people that attended the red carpet event, which included many doctors from different medical fields coming even from Chicago to support book author Lourdes D. Baron and her husband Dr. Robinson V. Baron.
Some of the attendees were Dr. Cary Presant, Book Editor Paolo M. Manuel, Venus Herbito, Carol Diaz, Dr. Leilanie Mon, Dr. Richard Mon, Dr. Crispin See, Dr. William Choctaw, Dr. Franklin Cabebe, Benny Uy, Lydia V. Solis, Stella Gomez and many more.
“Yesterday was very hot in West Covina, But the turn out was Huge. Thank you very much. It was a Celestial Success. Thank you, I love you guys.” said Author Lourdes Duque Baron, MHA, MSG from Scripted In Heaven. (Please click on the photos to view regular size)
The event program featured inspirational speeches from various physicians, various singing live performances by Shay Louise, Fil-Am Dot Nesst and Dr. Fred Quevedo, the book signing, catered food, refreshments and oh course an after-party. The event emcee was Norma Jean A. Eustaquio (Photojournalist of Scripted In Heaven). Author Lourdes Duque Baron, MHA, MSG., made an emotional speech thanking all the physicians, friends, fans and supporters for been there to support her event.
Celebrity photographer, actor, writer Travis Jourdain reported on lasplash.com that “The guests were in great spirit and really seem to enjoy themselves. There was also a red carpet that many people participated to get photographed and capture the memory of this wonderful day. Followed by the book signing where over 100 books of Scripted In Heaven were purchased and signed personally by Lourdes Duque Baron.”
