On Sunday, March 11, 2012 LA MARATHON LLC announced that runners who want to register for the Honda LA Marathon will have one more chance to get into the March 18 race, but only by registering in-person this coming Friday and Saturday, at the LA Marathon Expo located at Dodger Stadium.
Runners who missed the online registration deadline on Friday have been asking for the chance to register in person. The Marathon is now offering that opportunity for a limited number of runners.
“We’d like to include everyone who wants to run in this year’s race,” said LA MARATHON LLC Chief Operating Office Nick Curl. “We’ll have some spots available for registration at this week’s Expo on a first-come, first-served basis. Come out and join a wonderful and large field of runners.”
The Expo will take place at Dodger Stadium on Friday and Saturday, March 16-17, with free admission and free parking. The hours will be from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday. There will be more than 100 fitness and running exhibitors featuring the brand-new designs in running gear and shoes, as well as the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition.
