On Wednesday, March 9, 2011 Human Rights Campaign announced that Scarlett Johansson to receive Ally for Equality Award and Patrick Murphy, former Congressman from Pennsylvania to receive the HRC National Leadership Award at the 2011 HRC Los Angeles Gala.
Also Rabbi Denise Eger and Rev. Canon Susan Russell will receive the HRC Community Equality Award.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 starting at 5:30 pm at Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA. Also expected to make an appearance are Jessie Tyler Ferguson (ABC’s “Modern Family”) and Jillian Michaels (NBC’s “Biggest Loser”).
